Beyonce and JayZ Tiffany Campaign

A while back Tiffany solicited the help of Beyoncé and Jay-Z in an ad campaign to help draw younger buyers but it looks like this may have backfired for many reasons.

The campaign was a first of its kind: It was the first time Beyonce and Jay-Z appeared in an ad together, the first public appearance of American artist Jean-Michel Basquiat’s painting Equals Pi, and the first time the Tiffany Diamond—considered among the most important gemstone discoveries of the 19th century—was worn in a campaign.

Balenciaga in backlash over ‘racist’ $1,190 sweatpants

We have affection for Balenciaga but we have to admit that as a brand, they are often problematic. Their creation of The Trompe L’Oeil sweat pants (sagging pants) featuring a built-in pair of boxer shorts peeking out from the waistband, mimicking a style popularised by hip hop musicians was right up there.

Drake’s Custom Chrome Hearts Rolls Royce

This we felt was a collaboration not made in car heaven. We know that Drake loves his cars and this could have made an excellent addition to his $8m dollar car collection.

On one hand you have Rolls Royce, the epitome of style and class and on the other you have Chrome Hearts. On initial inspection, as you might expect, the vehicle comes with some pretty extra customizations, including quilted leather seats in a cross pattern and rims engraved with the words “F**k You.”

Chrome Hearts Gifted Cardi B and Offset a 1-of-1 Custom Stroller

Chrome Hearts gifted both Cardi B and Offset a 1-of-1 custom stroller in celebration of their second child. The stroller is a newborn carrycot style where the complete exterior and canopy have been reworked with multicolor Cemetery crosses. The larger rear wheels also feature silver crosses at the center hub, and the handle has been wrapped in black leather.

Audemars Piguet’s New Black Panther Watch

Of all the collaborations we’ve seen in 2021, this was the one we had the highest hopes for but sadly we were bitterly disappointed. Audemars Piguet in partnership with Marvel created the Royal Oak Concept Black Panther Flying Tourbillon, the first in a continuing partnership with Marvel. At a cost of $5.2m a lot of time, resources and skill went into creating this watch only for it to end up looking like something out of a happy meal.
